We get to enjoy some goregeous natural sights here. This one we even captured on film, the full moon glowing behind a palm tree one night. |

We thought we had really seen it all when our first chameleon laid eggs. But then one day, our 2nd chameleon shed its skin! A rather amazing sight! |

Natalie received this dress and ponya (baby carrying cloth) for her 4th birthday. Natalie really loves babies, so this present was totally up her alley. |
Without our bikes around to practice on (we were still waiting for the shipping container from the US to arrive with bikes for our family), Faith got the hang of balancing on two wheels with the Harveys' scooter. When the bicycles finally arrived, she got on her bike, and although she had never ridden a bicycle before, she immediately was able to ride her new bicycle! |

I love my mommy! |
And I like taking a bath!
(Except when daddy scrubs shampoo and water on my hair, but I won't let Mommy take a picture of that...) |

Doesn't get much cuter than a new baby goat and a beautiful van Achter-girl, does it? |
Some African friends made palm oil one day. They first cooked and crushed palm nuts, then pressed the oil out of them. Palm oil is extremely popular here in Congo because palm nuts are so readily available. |

The Harveys bought a baby mongoose that some Africans brought to their door. It happened to be the day that the Harveys' cat just had kittens, so they put the mongoose in with the kittens, and whaddya know, the mother cat adopted it! The mongoose remains a regular member of the cat family, nearly two months after its adoption! |
