Here Sarah Speer went with Crystal to look for a studio apartment for our French teacher, Jean Pierre. This one-room windowless apartment that was the best we could find! He is satisfied with it, but definitely looks forward to returning home to the modern conveniences of Brazzaville.

Every evening, shortly after the sun has set and it's almost completely dark out, this flock of birds comes to roost in these palm trees next to our house. They make quite the chatter throughout each evening.

Noah and Jack are great buddies.

Crystal noticed this happy little guy roaming on the outside of our bedroom window screen one morning. We have quite a few snails roaming about our yard. Escargots, anyone?
